About Us

A Brief History...

Kerala Christian Fellowship is a Christian Church with basic Pentecostal Characteristics. It was initiated in 1988 as a Christian Fellowship to reach South Asians, primarily people from Kerala. It began as a weekly gathering on Saturday evening at Surrey, and soon was moved to Richmond under the umbrella of Richmond Pentecostal Church, Richmond, BC.

Eventually the fellowship grew and took the form of a Church affiliated to Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) in 2007. In 2011, another service was initiated in Surrey on Sunday afternoon at Surrey Pentecostal Assembly in Surrey, BC. Now it serves as a church home for over 120 believers spanning different nationalities with services held in Richmond (Saturday evening) and Surrey (Sunday afternoon). While the services are held in English, a significant Malayalam component is incorporated in the service.
